Couch to 5k Beginner Running Program

Have you ever wanted to participate in a 5K event but didn’t think you could do it? Have you tried the C25k app just to be unsuccessful? Would you consider participating in a 5K program if you knew that you COULD be successful? We would like to help you achieve that goal!


This program runs: Tuesday, April 28th  - Thursday, June 25th 

6:00 - 7:00 PM

Marathon Sports, South Yarmouth, MA 

RRCA certified running coach Deanna Desroches will guide you from warm-ups to cool-down with a great work out in between! This Program is geared towards beginner runners but all are welcome to join. The goal is to run between 11-12 min miles without stopping for the 3.1 miles.

What you will receive with this program:


  • Group instruction 2x weekly (Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:30 pm)  for 9 weeks with certified instructor

  • Access to members only Facebook groups

  • Access to running gait analysis and custom shoe fittings by the expert staff at Marathon Sports for length of program

  • Entry to Run for the Arts 5k

  • Race t-shirt

  • 10% off merchandise (wearables not included) at Marathon Sports

  • Two nutrition education group classes with certified Nutritionist

  • CC5k Runner T-shirt

Join us to walk along the beautiful trails in Yarmouth Port.  Meet at the Pavillion.  We cover 5 miles of bumpy trails on this walk and go at a good pace.

Kids Run the Nation Program - Beginning July 7th children entering 3rd to entering 7th grade comer un with us twice weekly and learn the FUNdamentals of running!  Flax Pond, South Yarmouth.   Register through the Town of Yarmouth Recreation Department.
