Our Programs are designed to work with individuals concerned about their own health as well as companies that would like to improve upon the health of their staff members.  After careful review of health care reports we can designate problem areas and design programs specifically to target your staff needs in conjunction with company needs.  Improving the health and well-being of staff members creates a more positive work environment, reduces absenteeism, prevents workplace injuries, and reduces health care costs.  Call or email today to find out more!

Couch to 5k Beginner Run Program 

April 11 - June 9th
5:45pm -6:30pm
Meet at Marathon Sports, Station Avenue, South Yarmouth
Monday and Wednesday evenings for 9 weeks
Cost: $140

Have you ever wanted to participate in a 5k race but didn’t think you could do it?  Have you tried the C25k app just to be unsuccessful. Would you consider participating in a 5K program if you knew that you could be successful? Healthy Connections would like to help you achieve that goal!!

 

Deanna Desroches, RRCA Certified Running Coach, will guide you through warm-ups to cool-down with a great work out in between!  This program is geared towards beginner runners!   The goal is to run between 11-12 min miles without stopping.  This is an incremental run/walk program and you will run the first evening! 

We meet 2x/week with an optional 3rd run on Saturday mornings.  The program costs include entry fee for the Run for the Arts 5k.  You gain access to members only Facebook Group and also receive 15% off apparel and shoes at Marathon Sports for the duration of the program.  Questions contact Deanna capecodhealthyconnections@gmail.com

Spring Forward Challenge

We are challenging you to run, walk, or hike 70 miles during the month of April!  Are you up for the task?  We know you are!!  All your steps will count toward this fun challenge!  Join us from your own neighborhood! We'll use Challenge Hound to track our progress as we wander across 70 miles of beautiful Cape Cod!  Don't wait to register for this awesome virtual challenge! 

It's almost April and the sun will be shining and you'll be dreaming of all the fun summer outdoor activities.  Let's get a jump on your fitness and join our Spring Forward Challenge!  Registration is open now - don't hesitate!  Let's commit to this fun activity today!

Weekly Walks Every Saturday Morning beginning March 5th at 8:00.  Meet at Marathon Sports, South Yarmouth to walk 3-4 miles of the beautiful Cape Cod Rail Trail.  Pre-registration required
