Couch to 5k Beginner Run Program
April 11 - June 9th
Meet at Marathon Sports, Station Avenue, South Yarmouth
Monday and Wednesday evenings for 9 weeks
Have you ever wanted to participate in a 5k race but didn’t think you could do it? Have you tried the C25k app just to be unsuccessful. Would you consider participating in a 5K program if you knew that you could be successful? Healthy Connections would like to help you achieve that goal!!
Deanna Desroches, RRCA Certified Running Coach, will guide you through warm-ups to cool-down with a great work out in between! This program is geared towards beginner runners! The goal is to run between 11-12 min miles without stopping. This is an incremental run/walk program and you will run the first evening!
We meet 2x/week with an optional 3rd run on Saturday mornings. The program costs include entry fee for the Run for the Arts 5k. You gain access to members only Facebook Group and also receive 15% off apparel and shoes at Marathon Sports for the duration of the program. Questions contact Deanna email@example.com
